History + Art = Peace (HAP) Contest — 3 WEEKS TO GO!
Enter Alpha Education's annual HAP Contest by July 8, 2016 for the chance to win up to $1000. Literary and visual art projects on the 2016 of "Sustaining Hope" will be considered.
To foster a deeper understanding of history, human rights issues and social justice values, you are invited to explore the history of WWII in Asia through the arts. Use either creative writing or visual arts to express the specific theme of "sustaining hope" in the context of the Asia-Pacific war.
Prizes:
25 and under, Grand prize winner = $500
Open, grand prize winner = $1000
6 Finalists = $100 each
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the PEACE FEST concert in August, 2016.
