If you were one of the millions of young readers who scared yourself half to death with R.L. Stine's iconic Goosebumps books in the '90s, then you won't want to miss the big screen adaptation of the series.

The film, directed by Rob Letterman, features Jack Black playing the prolific horror writer, who in the film universe keeps the monsters of the Goosebumps books locked in manuscripts in his home office. When a well-meaning neighbour accidentally releases the monsters, chaos ensues. You'll recognise some of your favourite Goosebumps scares, from Slappy the Dummy to the creepy living lawn gnomes.

We're offering the chance to win passes to the film, as well as Goosebumps t-shirts and bookmarks, courtesy of Sony Pictures Canada.

To enter, send your name and mailing address to contests@openbooktoronto.com with the subject line GOOSEBUMPS by 12:00p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2015.

Each prize pack will include a pair of tickets to a first come, first served screening on of the movie on October 16, 2015 in Toronto. Don't miss the chance to scare the kid in you!
