In celebration of National Poetry Month, The Found Poetry Review is running a project during the month of April called Oulipost. The project, which began on April 1st and will continue throughout the month, has approximately 80 participating poets who are using constrained writing techniques sourced from the Oulipo (Ouvroir de littérature potentielle or “workshop of potential literature”) group to text sourced from their daily local newspaper.
Each day, The Found Poetry Review posts a daily prompt on their blog for the poets to tackle. The poets then post a link to their resulting poem on their own website or blog in the comments section. You can also follow along with the Oulipost project by checking out the #Oulipost hashtag on Twitter.
