Despite the continued freezing cold temperatures, Wattpad is heating things up with a new and free app called After Dark, offering a curated and steamy reading experience for mature romance fans.
After Dark offers readers thousands of romance stories written by best-selling authors and popular Wattpad writers. Readers can also browse content-specific channels such as LGBTQ, Urban and Fanfiction to better discover the stories they are after. Just like on Wattpad, readers can comment and vote on After Dark stories.
After Dark fills a particular niche for Wattpad readers, as Romance is one of the platform's most popular categories with 23 million uploads shared. "On the heels of the release of Fifty Shades of Grey, interest in mature stories has spiked," said Melissa Shapiro, Wattpad's head of global marketing. "With After Dark, adult romance readers now have a beautiful app where they can find all the steamiest stories from Wattpad."
After Dark is available for download from the app store for readers over 17 years old.
