Mother Tongue Books is also a community bookseller: “If someone comes in with a chap book or their first novel, we make sure to stock it.” They hold community launches for local authors and work with the local publishers to make sure that their neighbourhood writers are well supported. They also offer their support to other community events and enterprises.
