The Rideau Canal intersects Bank Street right by the Sunnyside branch of the Ottawa Public Library. It's a very picturesque area where Old Ottawa South meets the southern edge of The Glebe neighbourhood. To the left of the Canal is the Frank Clair Stadium, which was once the home to a number of Ottawa football teams. The stadium is part of Landsdowne Park, a multi-entertainment facility that hosts a variety of events.
