This is the gorgeous lounge at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier in downtown Ottawa that serves their famous Afternoon Tea - what is traditionally called "high tea". High Tea consists of your choice of one of their loose leaf teas and a dainty traditional 'meal' with it. You can choose from the Traditional Afternoon Tea, the Canadian High Tea, and they also offer a menu for younger diners, called Little Prince and Princess Tea. For the traditional tea, you get a fresh fruit cup, Victorian and cranberry scones, finger sandwiches, Afternoon Tea cake and a fruit tartlet.
