The afternoon reading will be part of an international event which will take place in many cities, in many villages and in the countryside all over the world, at the same time and date. The main website for "100,000 Poets for Change” is: http://www.100tpc.org/.

The first order of change is for poets to get together to perform, educate and entertain, simultaneously with others around the world, changing how we see our own community and the global community. Such an event ties in nicely with our national Culture Days: see here.

Visit their blog here for more information.

A photo gallery of the events happening on this day will be posted here.

MPs Irene Mathyssen and Ed Holder will say a few words. Twenty-five poets are signed up. Good will? Immeasurable! Host: Penn Kemp.
