Once again distinguishing itself as one of Canada’s most dynamic poetry series, the A B Series plays host to the North American debut of Japanese vocalist Koichi Makigami and trio A Я Tokyo Taiga.

Preceding the trio’s opening appearance at the 27th Festival International de Musique Actuelle in Victoriaville, Québec, the three members – Makigami, percussionist Massa Sato (Japan), and Altaic throat singer and multi ...instrumentalist Bolot Bairyshev (Russia) – perform in Ottawa, Ontario at the National Arts Centre’s Fourth Stage on May 18, 2011 at 7:30pm.

Tickets are $30 ($25 for seniors and $20 for students).
