Welcome to the 5th annual Blue Bridge Festival...

The Blue Bridge Festival is built over a river of music throughout York Region. Beginning in Jackson's Point, Ontario, flowing through Newmarket and culminating in historic Unionville, it builds bridges between the arts, between community groups and professionals, and between communities in Upper and Lower York Region. It is a festival where internationally known musicians and poets mingle with regional performers and audiences of all ages, creating exciting new concerts and traversing new artistic worlds.

They are delighted to welcome poets Joe Rosenblatt, M. Travis Lane and Catherine Owen to the festival this year. These are all outstanding poets and leaders in the literary community. They hail from all across Canada - Travis from New Brunswick and Joe and Catherine from Vancouver. They join Robert Colman and Patricia Keeney from York Region in readings and performance art events throughtout the festival weekend.

Don't miss the chance to open your eyes to a world of exciting, new, artistic experience.
