Details
Ruth E. Walker's debut novel, Living Underground (Seraphim Editions), will be launching on September 30 at the Women's Art Association of Canada in Toronto. Living Underground tells the story of a woman whose dismal childhood was irrevocably transformed when the family’s enigmatic German tenant introduces her to opera, music and far more. He reappears in her adult life, drawing her into the turmoil surrounding disturbing accusations about his life in WWII Germany. Moving through time and place, the novel travels from pre-WWI Dresden, Germany to urban Toronto in 2000. Come check out this new and talented author.
