Aimed at supporting the lives of parents of children with medical fragility and special needs, Julie's book tells her story of the struggles and triumphs of mothering a child who suffered severe and irreparable brain injury at birth. Now, eleven years later, she reflects, and shares her insights with parents and professionals on how to embrace this parenting challenge and celebrate the gifts that a child with severe disabilities can give. Julie will read passages from her newly released book.
