Details

Brad Smith was born and raised in southern Ontario and continues to live near the north shore of Lake Erie. He has worked as a farmer, signalman, insulator, truck driver, bartender, schoolteacher, maintenance mechanic, roofer, and carpenter. His novel, One-Eyed Jacks was nominated for the Dashiell Hammett Prize and his writing has been adapted for big screen and TV. Smith started writing in his late twenties, in part to see if he could, and for a while it appeared that, as a writer, he was going to make a hell of a roofer. Brad proposes that his Pelham Library visit be part interview, part reading with a poker game thrown in for good measure.

Tickets are $10, please purchase in advance.
