Bryan Prince Bookseller presents Breaking the Ice: Queer Poetry Slam...Feel the avalanche of words melt frost and thaw ice!

Bryan Prince Booksellers have once again joined forces with the Women and Liminal Committee of Hamilton to present a poetry slam. Please join them for an evening featuring readings by prominent poets and writers who will then form the guest panel for a poetry slam. Participants in the slam are invited to write and recite an original poem containing the word "melt" or "thaw." One prize will be awarded by the panel members and another by the audience. The winners will each receive a $100 cash prize.

The guest judges are: Richard Douglass-Chin, steen star, D-lishus and Jade Mackin.

This is a free event.
