JonArno Lawson has been writing poetry for many years. He is the recipient of a Chalmer’s Arts Fellowship and the winner of a Lion and Unicorn Award for Excellence in Children’s Literature, 2007 for Black Stars in a White Night Sky published by Pedlar Press. JonArno resides in Toronto with his wife and three children.

There Devil, Eat That. In his first adult book of poetry since 1999 JonArno’s language is playful and clear -- he avoids obscurity, but not complexity in a wide range of themes.

Marina Endicott has been an actor, director, playwright, and editor. Her first novel Good to a Fault, won the Commonwealth Prize for Best Book (Canada and the Caribbean). Marina lives in Edmonton, Alberta.

The Little Shadows, shortlisted for the 2011 Giller Prize, revolves around the popular Avery sisters and their traveling vaudeville world in the time of WWI, where their theatre experiences echo the art of life itself.

Ray Robertson is the author of several fine novels, which include Moody Food and David as well as a collection of non-fiction, Mental Hygiene: Essays on Writers and Writing. Ray is a contributing reviewer for the Globe and Mail.

Why Not? Fifteen Reasons To Live. Shortlisted for the Writers’ Trust Award for Non-Fiction. Shortly after completing his sixth novel Ray Robertson suffered a severe depression. From this difficult time comes a collection of essays that remind us that much of what we have to live for requires effort and perseverance. But just what makes humans happy and life worth living?
