Carolyn Smart will be at Kingston Writerfest and is pleased to present Hooked (Brick Books): The Performance, with actor Nicky Guadagni.

This event runs until 9:30pm and it takes place in the islandview room.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Carolyn Smart was born in England and moved to Canada at the age of six. She has lived in Ottawa, Toronto, and Winnipeg, and since 1983 has grown lilies and vegetables on a farm in the country north of Kingston.

Carolyn's previous collections of poetry have been Swimmers in Oblivion (York Publishing, 1981), Power Sources (Fiddlehead Poetry Books, 1982), Stoning the Moon (Oberon Press, 1986) and The Way to Come Home (Brick Books, 1993). Her memoir At the End of the Day was published by Penumbra Press in 2001.
