We’ve heard that it’s possible for readings and speeches to be, well, boring. You know, you can’t hear the speaker, he’s mumbling, she’s droning, etc., while you count the holes in the ceiling tiles. You’ve probably asked yourself how you can avoid being That Guy/Gal...

Coach House comes to the rescue with our new KaffeeklatsCH, which will be led by Cathy Sobocan, who brings more than 25 years of radio and television broadcasting and teaching experience to her work as a public speaking and presentation skills coach. You can learn more about Cathy here.

Friends, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn (for just $10!) everything you need to know about being a compelling reader. You’ll learn:

— how to use a microphone properly
— how to project
— how to stand and move
— what makes readings not interesting
— how to be a more compelling speaker
— how to make people not wish they were watching Game of Thrones instead
— and lots more!

There will even be time to do a little practice if you’re so inclined, so please bring a sentence or two.

Please note that attendance will be limited to 15 guests –– so book your tickets quickly!
