Bill Swan, a retired journalism professor and award-winning author, will share the story of Real Justice: Fourteen and Sentenced to Death — The story of Steven Truscott. The book won the Ontario Library Association's Red Maple Non-Fiction Award and was shortlisted for the 2013 Norma Fleck Children's Non-fiction Award by the Canadian Children's Book Centre. He will read from the book and be interviewed by the evening’s host, Ingrid Ruthig, author of Slipstream.

Swan has published nine books in the Lorimer sports series, and more recently, a second book in the Real Justice series, Convicted for being Mi’kmaq &mdash The Story of Donald Marshall Jr.
