Ever wanted to write in the most popular genre in fiction? At this half-day Writing Fantasy Fiction workshop, led by indie publisher Patricia K McCarthy of Ottawa, you'll learn about the types of fantasy, plotting, writing graphic sex scenes, the macabre and other aspects of fantasy publishing. Patricia, who is known as Ottawa's fang queen, will walk you through the process and make if look easy. She will conduct exercises on plotting and writing a successful pitch and you will leave the workshop feeling confident about what to do next. Cost: $45 each or Early Bird, $35. Payment entitles you to receive one free Crimson novel from McCarthy's first trilogy.
