The Ontario Writers’ Conference is proud to present the Friday evening Festival of Authors on Friday, May 2nd, 7 to 10 pm. This exciting annual event features entertaining interviews and inspiring author readings with three top Canadian writers.

Ingrid Ruthig, writer and visual artist with many publishing credits to her name, will interview Catherine Bush, author of four novels including the national bestseller, The Rules of Engagement, and the newly released Accusations; Karen Connelly, the author of ten books of award-winning poetry, fiction, and non-fiction including Touch the Dragon, winner of the Governor General’s Award; and, Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer, bestselling author of the novels All The Broken Things, Perfecting and The Nettle Spinner, as well as the short story collection Way Up.

“This is a great opportunity to mingle with Canadian writers, publishers and some interesting personalities,” explains tBarbara Hunt, President of the Ontario Writers’ Conference. “We always have a great time.”

Blue Heron Books will be on hand with a great selection of books by these featured writers and many more. Purchase a book and have it signed by the author. Light refreshments will be served and a cash bar is available.
