Coming up this Friday on CFRC 101.9fm's "finding a voice" from 4-6pm - in the first hour, featuring Robyn Sarah with her reading at the recent launch of her latest collection of poetry, Digressions: prose poems, collage poems and sketches (2012, Fitzhenry & Whiteside), at Novel Idea Bookstore in Kingston -- in the second hour, from the May poetry at the Artel Open Mic, featuring Nick Papaxanthos, Michael Casteels, Eriana Marcus, Richard Raphael Bran Marcus and Bradley Heaslip - we also stream live online at www.cfrc.ca - should be a great show; and, as always, a heartfelt thanks for their ongoing support: to Merilyn at about books in the arts and life section of the whig, to Clelia and Erin at Open Book Toronto and Open Book Ontario and to Amanda at Bywords: Poetry and Ottawa literary events (www.bywords.ca)- please check out this print and these websites for current and great information.

This show will be available within 48 hours after airing, and all shows dating back to Dec. 9, 2011 can be accessed and listened to on the blog space for “Finding a Voice" on CFRC 101.9fm, located at http://findingavoiceoncfrcfm.wordpress.com/. each post does contain full information about that week's show along with the audio link (my apologies that it does sometimes seem to take a couple of minutes for audio link to download - but well worth the wait).

All shows from now through mid-September are two hours long.
