Fundraiser for the A-frame--At the Quinte Hotel

As part of Culture Days in Ontario, Jeff Keary is organizing an A-frame event at his Rednersville stone church venue 'Active Arts Studio' for Saturday September 28, 1:30 to 6PM.

Two performances of the play 'At the Quinte Hotel' written by Dave Carley, performed by Richard Turtle, and based on Al Purdy's well-known poem are scheduled for 1:30 and 5PM.
There will be music between performances.

A silent auction of signed Purdy books and other items is being organized.

It promises to be a wonderful day so please mark your calendars and plan to attend. Autumn in the county is beautiful.

We are also looking for a web master to take over the official Al Purdy A-frame Association website. Please contact Jean at jeanbaird@shaw.ca if you are interested or know someone who might wish to take on this volunteer position.
