Award-winning Canadian poet Gary Geddes will be reading from the re-release of his acclaimed collection The Terracotta Army(Goose Lane Editions) and from his new work Swimming Ginger. Gary will also be discussing his work in the context of history, in particular the travelling exhibit of Chinese clay warriors that inspired The Terracotta Army and the Qingming Shanghe Tu scroll, sometimes called “Spring Festival by the River” or “Going Upriver on a Bright, Clear Day,” which was the basis for Swimming Ginger.

This is sure to be an evening of literary excellence. Books will be available for purchase, and Gary will be pleased to sign your copies.
