Gerald A. Archambeau will sign copies of his book A Struggle to Walk with Dignity.
Gerald was born in Jamaica in 1933. His aunts sent him to Canada in 1947 to live with his mother and stepfather in Montreal. This book is a time piece documenting Gerald's life as a black immigrant arriving in Canada in the 1940s, the waves of racism faced and what it was like working for the Canadian National Railway.
He now lives in St. Catharines with his wife.
