London Public library welcomes Penn Kemp, who will discuss "The Word and the word: Is God a poet?".

What has poetry to do with religion? Can poetic diction best express spiritual truth? Penn Kemp, London's first Poet Laureate, looks at literalism and metaphor in sacred texts.

This is a free event. Q&A to follow. There will also be book and cds for sale.
