Peggy Dymond Leavey, author of Sky Lake Summer, The Deep End Gang, and The Path Through the Trees, all of which have been nominated for the Silver Birch Award, and the newly-released Growing Up Ivy (Dundurn), will be signing copies of her new book. Set in Depression era Ontario, it’s the story of twelve-year-old Ivy who comes to stay with her paternal grandmother in Larkin, Ontario, while her mother seeks stardom in New York City.
