ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Ken Babstock is the author of three books of poetry. His most recent, "Airstream Land Yacht" (House of Anansi, 2006) won the Trillium Award for Poetry, "Mean" (House of Anansi, 1999) won The Milton Acorn People's Poet Award and the Atlantic Poetry Prize, and "Days into Flatspin" (House of Anansi, 2001), won the K. M. Hunter Award. His poetry has appeared widely in Canada, the U.S. and Ireland, and has been translated into French, German, Dutch, Czech, and Serbo-Croatian.
