As part of Culture Days, Penn Kemp presents her Sound Opera, Helwa! a sound opera: experiencing ancient Egypt. This is a free event.

Also joining Penn will be percussionist sound poet Jocelyn Drainie, player Panayitos Giannarapis and the Three Young Hathors and Daniel Kolos, poet and Egyptologist.

Daniel and Penn will also perform her Poem for Peace in Two Voices in English and in Daniel's translation into Ancient Egyptian!

The chapbook HELWA! is published by PigeonBike Press, London ON. See http://pigeonbike.blogspot.com/2011/07/penn-kemps-sound-opera-helwa.html. Pendas Productionshas also releasied a CD, Night Vision, which includes the long poem, Helwa!
