Alyssa Cooper is a born word-weaver, swallowing stanzas like sustenance and leaving thumbnails of poetry everywhere she goes. She was born in Belleville Ontario, where she lives with her vintage typewriters and her personal library. Her first novel, Salvation, was released in 2012, and she is eagerly anticipating the release of her first poetry collection, Cold Breath of Life.

S. E. Richardson, (Sarah Elizabeth), has been published in 529 (Proper Tales Press), That Not Forgotten (Hidden Brook Press), illiterature, issue two (Puddles of Sky Press) and The Inspired Heart (Melinda Cochrane International) and is currently writing two novels. Before I Lose Light is Sarah’s first collection of poetry. She is a graduate of Queens University and lives in Kingston, Ontario.

Gary Rasberry describes himself as: “Philosopher. Poet. Imagination Consultant. Musician. Artist. Educator. Insecure Extrovert. Reluctant Enthusiast. Risk-taker. Scaredy-Cat. Small Animal with a Fast Metabolism.” Currently touring with The Big Idea Band doing shows for his latest musical release, ‘What’s the Big Idea?!?’

Bruce Kauffman lives in Kingston, ON and is a poet, writer, and editor who also hosts a monthly open mic reading series, a weekly spoken word radio show on CFRC, and facilitates writing workshops. The Silence Before the Whisper Comes is his third full collection of poetry. His previous two collections were also published by Hidden Brook Press.
