Starts on Thrusday November 24th and continues to Saturday the 26th, 5:30p.m. to 9:00p.m. each day.

Sainte-Marie’s “First Light” is a must-see event of family activities and performers, all amidst the spectacular glow of over 3,000 candles.

The magic begins when visitors approach the candlelit historic site, as a beautiful amber glow illuminates the famous 17th-century mission.

The candlelit paths lead to a variety of fun activities such as candle making, writing Christmas cards with historic quill pens, sampling baked goods and making corn husk dolls.

The themed Sainte-Marie gift shop will host Jennifer Maruno, author of Warbird, a children’s novel set at the mission of Sainte Marie in 1647.

Cost is $8.00 to attend plus a non-perishable food item.
