First launched in 2006, and professionalized in 2009, the Kingston WritersFest prepares for another year of literary readings, conversations and presentations at the Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront. The festival will run from September 24-28, and kicking off the festivities will be a reading and discussion with Wally Lamb and Michael Enright at 8 pm at the Grand Theatre, Regina Rosen Auditorium.

This year will hold 57 different events over the 4 days and 5 nights, offering many different options for all types of readers. If you are having trouble deciding on how to spend your time, don't worry! The events have been categorized by theme to help organize the days, based on interest.

Kingston offers many different types of restaurants and meal options, as well as hospitable locations for room and board over the weekend. Tickets go on sale at noon on August 7 at the Grant Theatre Box Office.
