Enjoy high tea with five of this year’s most notable authors. Miranda Hill debuts her story collection, Sleeping Funny. Giller winner Linden MacIntyre reads from Why Men Lie, a stunning conclusion to his Cape Breton trilogy. Ami McKay offers The Virgin Cure, a novel of betrayal amidst the house-thieves, pickpockets, beggars, sideshow freaks, and prostitutes of the Bowery in 1871. In Web of Angels, Lilian Nattel illuminates the intriguing world of multiple personalities that join forces to battle evil, and win. And Nancy Richler introduces The Imposter Bride, the enigmatic story of a Holocaust survivor who is not what she seems to be. Treats savoury and sweet for every taste. Moderated by Merilyn Simonds.
