Set in the near future, Timothy Taylor’s The Blue Light Project follows a four–day hostage–taking in a television studio full of kids. Packed with bombs, bloodthirsty mobs, ballistic knives, and a superhero protagonist named Rabbit, the novel explores big ideas in the guise of a gripping thriller.

Andrew Pyper’s The Guardians is a classic haunted–house story with a twist of secrets at its foundation.

Pyper and Taylor read from their novels and discuss the current appetite for a literary adrenalin rush.
