Born Weird

Jason Heroux, Andrew Kaufman, Corey Redekop
Readings & Conversation

Surrealism makes a comeback! In the revolutionary, free-associating spirit of Magritte and Dali, three Canadians turn their wit and imagination to the absurdity of human experience. Poet Jason Heroux sees noon as a mid-life crisis in his collection Natural Capital. In Born Weird, Andrew Kaufman follows the five Weird siblings who seek to lift the curses they received as blessings at birth. And Corey Redekop grafts deep societal issues onto an increasingly silly story about zombies with a conscience in Husk.
