Confessions of a Fairy’s Daughter

Alison Wearing
Performance

This award-winning one-woman show is based on Alison Wearing’s own story of growing up with a gay father in small-town Ontario in the 1980s. Woven through with music and imagery, the multimedia monologue moves from Alison’s carefree childhood to the moment she learned, at age twelve, that her family was more complex than she thought. Intimate, poignant, and often hilarious, Confessions of a Fairy’s Daughter is, as one critic put it, “a loveable, daring, heartfelt performance.”

General admission: $13.50/$17.00 onsite
