Digging Up the Bones: True Crime

Charlotte Gray & Debra Komar
Readings & Conversation

The most fascinating question in forensics is "why?" Join historian Charlotte Gray, author of The Massey Murder, and forensic anthropologist Debra Komar, author of The Ballad of Jacob Peck, as they talk about the sleuth-work involved in digging up the bones of these famous historical Canadian crimes. Who, how, when, and where are well documented. Charlotte and Debra examine the “why”: the motivation behind murders long past, and how it might have affected the verdict of innocence or guilt. Moderated by Katherine Ashenburg.

General admission: $13.50/$17.00 onsite
