When is a poem a song? And when is a song a poem? Robert Priest, also known as Dr. Poetry and a “poem painter,” performs his poems and songs and gets his audience performing and poetizing, too. He’ll talk about where poems come from and what they’re for, what poetry does for the human spirit. Come see for yourself why he’s called “imaginative in a strange way” and “the voice of the people and the angels entwined.” Hosted by Shelley Tanaka.

General Admission: $12.50/$16.00 onsite.
High–school students: $5.00/$8.00 onsite.
