How I Failed High-School English and Became a Writer Anyway

Alison Wearing
Teen Writers Studio

As a child, Alison Wearing loved frogs, but when her high school biology teacher announced they’d be dissecting frogs in class, she lost interest in biology – and in frogs. The same thing happened with books. An avid reader as a young child, she was hopeless at character sketches and plot summaries. She failed her last English class in Grade Ten, yet somehow became a writer. In this master class, she explains how.

High-school students: $10.00/$13.50 onsite
For teens only. Limited enrolment.
