Thomas King shares stories of what it means to be “Indian” in Canada. His darkly funny and deeply personal memoir The Inconvenient Indian springs from a lifetime of experience and observation from the inside. Tom reads from the book and talks about how his experience is rooted in Native American history and culture, its characters and events. He examines these roots and presents a profound possibility: a new basis for understanding between aboriginals and non-aboriginals.
