Self-replicating humanoids, Pigoons, the living dead: join three otherworldly writers in their wildly inventive and weirdly familiar worlds. Madeline Ashby’s iD is the second in her Machine Dynasty series about self-replicating humanoids, Rapture sects, and giant squids. Margaret Atwood’s MaddAddam completes her dystopic trilogy, bringing together the Crakers and God’s Gardeners in a final battle against CorpseCorps. In Corey Redekop’s Husk, a zombie struggles to balance family, career, and cannibalism. Adventure stories or windows to the future? Come speculate with the best. Moderated by Sarah Tsiang.
