Naomi Duguid is renowned for cookbooks that are part travelogue, part anthropological study, part culinary instruction. Hot Sour Salty Sweet and Flatbreads and Flavours are both winners of the James Beard Cookbook of the Year Award. Seductions of Rice and Beyond the Great Wall garnered Cuisine Canada cookbook awards. Now this world traveller, photographer, and writer brings Burma: Rivers of Flavor, celebrating the food of a rich and exotic culture. Duguid lives partly in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, where she runs Immersethrough, a combination tour, intensive cooking school, and eating experience. Join us for an armchair version of the Duguid total food immersion. Hosted by Greg Burluik.
