Led by acclaimed novelist Helen Humphreys, this master class focuses on the construction of narrative. She will show you how story works, and how you can make it work for you. Exploring the individual elements present in narrative – plot, character, pacing, style, voice – Helen will guide you through each component and show you how to weave them together to make a cohesive whole. She favours a practical approach to the complexities of writing fiction. Come prepared for in-class writing.
