David Scott Smith, co-author of the recently-published Lifting the Silence (Dundurn Press), written with his father Sydney Percival Smith -- a World War II RCAF bomber pilot, will be signing copies and reading from his book.
Lifting the Silence is also a father-and-son journey of discovery that uncovers a remarkable letter, postmarked France, August 1946, that serves as testament to what still defines Canada today.
