Ottawa Author's Book Launch: November 24, 2013, 7-9 p.m.

Carl Dow’s fiction debut, The Old Man’s Last Sauna(Bumble Puppy Press), will be launched on Nov. 24 at Daniel O’Connell’s Irish Pub at 1205 Wellington St. West in Ottawa. It is the first book by long-time journalist and editor Dow and is a remarkable, eclectic collection of stories, some of which may make you laugh out loud, others make you cry and still others cause you to curse in outrage. The launch will feature free snacks, a reading and live music with Kevin Dooley & Friends.
