Joan Thomas, winner of the Commonwealth First Book Award for her Goose Lane novel Reading by Lightning, will be in Parry Sound as part of their 2011 Reading Series.
Joan will be reading and discussing her new novel Curiosity, recently nominated for Manitoba's Margaret Laurence Award. A slide show of some of the fossils and creatures mentioned in the book will accompany Joan's talk.
