Poetry London presents a poetry reading by B.C. poet LORNA CROZIER (winner of the Governor General's, the Canadian Authors' Association, and two Pat Lowther Awards and distinguished professor at the University of Victoria).

All welcome, free admission. Book sale to follow.

Prior to the reading, Michelle Doege will be facilitating a writing workshop at 6:30pm. No registration required.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Lorna Crozier’s books have won the Governor General’s, the Canadian Authors’ Association, and two Pat Lowther Awards. A Distinguished Professor at the University of Victoria, she has published fourteen poetry collections, the most recent The Blue Hour of the Day: Selected Poems (2007) and Small Mechanics (2011), both with McClelland & Stewart. She has received two honourary doctorates for her contribution to Canadian literature, her poems have been translated into several languages, and she has read her work around the world. A memoir, Small Beneath the Sky, was published by Greystone books in 2009. Concurrently a Spanish translation of her poems, La Perspectiva del Gato was published by Trilce Ediciones in Mexico City.
