Poetry readings by Erin Knight and Al Moritz.

Erin Knight's first collection of poetry, The Sweet Fuels (Goose Lane Editions, 2007), was nominated for the Gerald Lampert Award. A selection of poems from her most recent book, Chaser (House of Anansi Press, 2012), was shortlisted for the CBC Canada Writes Poetry Prize. She lives in St. Catharines.

Al Moritz's most recent book of poems, The New Measures (Anansi Press, 2012), received the League of Canadian Poets' 2013 Raymond Souster Award for the best poetry book of the previous year, and was a finalist for the Governor General's Award. His previous book, The Sentinel (Anansi, 2008), received the 2009 Griffin Poetry Prize and was also a GGA finalist. He has published sixteen books of poems, as well as works of nonfiction and translation; his poetry has received the Guggenheim Fellowship, the Ingram Merrill Fellowship, the Award in Literature of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, selection to the Princeton Series of Contemporary Poets, and the Bess Hokin Prize of Poetry magazine, among other honours.
