Rhythm of Resistance Poetry Slam and Fundraiser

Bryan Prince Booksellers will be joining the Hamilton Friendship with Cuba Association in sponsoring Rhythm of Resistance, a poetry slam and cultural program marking Black History Month and a fundraiser for the Canadian Network for Cuba Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund.

The event program will feature live music, poetry readings and a poetry slam. Slam participants are invited to write and recite an original poem about Cuba, Black history or the theme "Rhythm of Resistance".

There will be two cash prizes of $50 each awarded.
