Richmond Hill celebrates 6th Annual Poetry Gala

In the month of April, Richmond Hill Public Library will be joining libraries across Canada in celebration of poetry and its vital place in Canadian culture.

The sixth celebration of Canadian poetry will take place on Saturday, April 16 at Central Library from 1: 30 to 4:30 p.m. in Rooms A and B – 2nd floor. The program will begin at 1:30pm sharp.

Six prize-winning poets are being invited to read from their works to present an afternoon of poetic delight! They include Ken Babstock, Karen Connelly, Barry Dempster, Richard Greene, Ruth Roach Pierson, and Karen Solie. Books will be available for purchase and author signing.

Refreshments will be served. Admission is Free. (max: 90 people).
