The Ridgeway Reads Festival Gala Event presents Douglas Gibson.

Douglas is the author of Stories About Storytellers. He was born in 1943, in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland. He has degrees from St. Andrews and Yale. In 1968 he got his first job in publishing with Doubleday Canada. In 1974, he was hired by Macmillan. In March 1986, he was lured to McClelland and Stewart. He retired in 2008.
